Otto-Ernst Remer was a German Wehrmacht officer in World War II who played a major role in stopping the 20 July plot in 1944 against Adolf Hitler. Citation for Oak Leaves for Knight's Cross of Iron Cross and signed photograph. 

As a commander of Großdeutschland Regiment in Berlin, while arresting Himmler, after hearing Hitler's voice on the phone, he started arresting the plotters putting the whole Stauffenberg's affair to the spectacular end.
