Citation for the German Cross of Victory 1st and 2nd Class - a medal created for the Amazon show "The Man in the High Castle". The medal itself resembles War Merit Cross with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwerten), but it's black and has the year 1947 on it.
The citation is closely based on actual late War Merit award document and can come to you blank or filled out on a typewriter to your specification (rank, name, unit, date and place of issue), as well as stamped and signed by respective commanding general.
SS-Obergruppenführer Smith from "The Man in the High Castle" had all classes of this award bestowed upon him - 2nd Class (he wore top button-hole ribbon for it), 1st Class (he wore it pinned to his left chest-pocket) and the highest grade - Knight's Cross of German Victory Cross (the neck order).
If you wish, the medals (metal!) are also available from Krause Papierwerke.
"Filled out" version comes with data you provide in comments typed on an original war-time SS typewriter. If choosing it, please provide:
- Rank
- Your first and last name
- Unit
- Place and date of award
