Extremely rare ID for a member of German American Bund (Amerikadeutscher Volksbund). AV was an organization formally established in 1936 and dissolved in 1941. At its peak it would reach ~25 thousand of dues-paying members (Americans of German origins only). The goal of the organization was to improve relationships between USA and Germany and to promote Nazi Germany's values in the USA. The political views in some aspects resembled those of the German NSDAP - anti-communist, anti-Semitic and anti-democratic.
You can order a blank ID form, or fully filled out version. Filled out version will come with all entries typed on a period typewriter with needed signatures and rubber-stamps (AV, Ortsgruppe and dues). For filled out version please provide:
- First and family name
- Exact address of the member
- Birthdate
- Date of joining the Bund (between 1936 and 41)
