Driver Proficiency Badge (Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen) was awarded to both civilian and military drivers who distinguished themselves during combat and who took exceptional care in maintaining their vehicles under the most harsh of conditions. It was awarded in bronze, silver and gold grades since 23rd of October 1942. It could have been earned for all accomplishment since December 1940 though.
