Postcards shows caricatures of the last Austrian chancellor Kurt Schuschnigg, Jews and clergy running away from the wave of Nazi banners. The caption says "Mander s'ischt Zeit" ("Got riddance, it's time!") in Austrian dialect.
After initial house-arrest, Schuschnigg spent the war in Sachsenhausen and Dachau concentration camps in Germany and left for the USA after the war.
