Great reproductions of large third Reich post stamps to celebrate birthday of the Führer. This one were issued for Germany in:

  • 1940 (51st birthday)
  • 1941
  • 1942
  • 1943  
  • and the last one in 1944 (55th birthday)

The stamps have no gum on the reverse. Sold in strips of 5.

 

What about the other birthdays?

 

It's only 6 years after becoming the ruler of Germany, on his 50th birthday in 1939, the day of April 20th became a national holiday. There was no dedicated stamp issued by German Post that year, but they issued

  • a collectors card (see here) and
  • a postcard (see here

both commemorating his spectacular accomplishmentstill date. 

 

As for the last birthday, in 1945, the situation was too grim for anyone to design and manufacture a birthday stamp. Thus 1944 was the last one.
