Polish Collection

Poland stayed under the German occupation from Oct 1939 to ~January 1945. In that time it was referred to as "Generalgouvernement", or in Polish "Generalna Gubernia". These 5+ years were very tough for the Polish people, especially of the Jewish origin. The territory with capital in the medieval city of Cracow was ruthlessly exploited economically, but also became the destination for all Jews of Europe to be resettled and eventually murdered.

This page is devoted to the paper collateral related to Poland under Nazi occupation.
